Obama said he cares passionately about Internet freedom. It was a political response by all measures, but he did say that he wouldn’t stray from the principle that the Web should remain “the open forum for everybody – from those who are expressing an idea to those to want to start a business.”He also answered a question about space exploration, something he has been criticized for after NASA’s mission was radically altered under Obama’s administration. Nevertheless, he said there is much to be discovered, and that there is currently a mission in progress which could be “a prelude to a manned Mars flight.”As for the softball of the afternoon, Obama took a minute to respond to the question of what he’ll do after the election results come in on November 7.“Win or lose, I’ll be thanking everybody who is working so hard – especially all the volunteers in field offices all across the country, and the amazing young people in our campaign offices,” he said.Read it at Obama Reddit AMAlast_img
