(Photo by Brian Davidson/Getty Images)We’re halfway through the college football season and that means one thing: it’s time for midterms – according to college football analyst Ralph Russo. On Tuesday afternoon, Russo revealed his midterm awards and took a look at what the rest of the season will bring.Russo revealed the coaching “hot seat” and there were several names, two of which are in “big trouble.”Kansas head coach David Beatty and East Carolina head coach Scottie Montgomery are the coaches in “big trouble” according to Russo.Big trouble: David Beatty, Kansas; Scottie Montgomery, East Carolina.Beatty’s name is no surprise on Russo’s list as the Jayhawks have been the nation’s worst Power 5 program over the past several years – forget Rutgers this year. Meanwhile, the Pirates have also struggled this year and have allowed over 40 points in their last two games.Kansas has lost its last three games by at least 16 points and there isn’t much room for excitement as the Jayhawks have Texas Tech, TCU, Texas, and Oklahoma left on the schedule. Can either David Beatty and Scottie Montgomery turn their programs around?[AP]last_img
