The 2019 Africa Twin will be available in Glint Wave Blue Metallic colour with golden handle bar and wheel rims. The company has opened bookings for the first 50 customers only at its ‘Wing World’ dealerships across 22 cities.The new 2019 Africa Twin gets a parallel twin 999.11 cc engine, which delivers 87.7 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 93.1 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. The Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) in the new 2019 Africa Twin offers automatic shifting. When in automatic mode, the rider can choose between D mode for comfortable cruising and three dynamic sport settings in S mode. During off-roading, the G switch accelerates gear shifting to give rider increased control.The rider can select from three levels of power in the new 2019 Africa Twin and engine braking offers pre-set combinations. There are four riding modes — Tour, Urban, Gravel and User. The 2019 Africa Twin gets a standard Antilock Braking System (ABS).The new 2019 Africa Twin comes with Showa cartridge-type inverted front fork, pre-load adjuster on both wheels and the option of adjusting the suspension to a softer or stiffer setting. The seat height can be adjusted. Heavy components, such as the battery, are placed close to the motorcycle’s center of gravity. The chassis design provides a wide 43-degree steering angle and a tight 2.5-metre turning radius.There is a rally-style LCD instrument panel in the new 2019 Africa Twin.
