Women’s Basketball Player of the Week – Chastadie Barrs, Lamar – Jr. – Guard – DeSoto, TexasBarrs had double-doubles in both games as the Cardinals claimed a pair of victories in week 11. The DeSoto, Texas, native had a career-high 12 steals against UIW and now owns the Southland record for career steals with 379. She leads the nation in total steals (114) and steals per game (6.71). Her efforts helped LU to an 81-27 advantage in points off turnovers in the two games as the Cardinals forced 76 turnovers in the two contests.
