first_imgYou can have your pets vaccinated at one of several locations throughout Ripley County next week.Per Indiana law, dogs and cats three months of age and older must be vaccinated against rabies. The first rabies vaccine must be a one-year vaccine.After the initial rabies vaccination, a three-year vaccine may be used to maintain protection. Dogs and cats must be given boosters annually unless they have received the three-year vaccine.The rabies clinic will provide the one year rabies vaccine.
