The following day, they will go from Knock to Dublin before heading south for an overnight break-in Fermoy. Then, on September 12, they will cycle to Cork Airport before returning to Shannon.Shannon Group Acting chief executive Mary Considine said it was a huge undertaking for even elite athletes and a great example of the generosity of staff towards their designated charities.“Everyone here is full of admiration for the four individuals involved and we are appealing for people to support them in this epic fundraiser for the Cancer Society and Limerick Suicide Watch.”The event is supported by corporate sponsors Flynn and Daifuku Airport Technologies.
