Nigeria’s Minister of Youth and Sports, Barrister Solomon Dalung, has expressed satisfaction with Port Harcourt’s readiness to host the forth-coming Governor Nyesom Wike National Wrestling Championships as well as the 2018 Africa Senior Wrestling Championships slated for February.Barrister Dalung made his known during a meeting with the Local Organising Committee (LOC) of both tournaments in Abuja on Thursday. The LOC met with the Sports Minister to brief him on the level of preparedness of the Garden City ahead of the Championships.Expressing his satisfaction with the level of work done by the LOC, Dalung equally commended the Rivers State Governor, Barrister Nyesom Wike for agreeing to sponsor both events.
